The state health insurance law established a "health basket" - basic health services, which the health funds are obliged to provide.
At Leumit we think you deserve more, understanding that the health basket, as wide as it is, cannot answer all your medical needs.
Leumit has 2 levels of additional, supplementary insurance
- Leumit Silver - a basic supplementary insurance plan that provides a variety of medical services beyond what is provided in the health basket established by law.
- Leumit Gold- the most advanced and comprehensive supplementary insurance program in Israel, which provides perfect coverage for advanced private medicine.

Weight Loss and Pre-diabetes Workshop
Being overweight can negatively impact health, increasing the risk of heart disease, diabetes, stroke, and various types of cancer. Pre-diabetes is a condition where blood sugar levels are elevated, and the body does not use insulin properly. If left untreated, pre-diabetes can develop into diabetes, leading to potential damage to cells, nerves, and organs, as well as heart disease and other complications.
Leumit’s weight loss workshop is designed for customers over the age of 18 with a BMI of 27 or higher or those diagnosed with pre-diabetes. The program includes 10 weekly sessions led by a clinical dietitian, with each session lasting an hour and a half.
