Leumit offers its clients two surgical tracks:

Public track surgeries – available to all clients, including those without supplementary insurance. These procedures are performed in public hospitals by Leumit physicians.

Surgeries under Leumit Gold and Leumit Silver supplementary insurance – providing greater personal choice and access to advanced medical care. This track includes the option to choose your surgeon from among leading specialists in Israel, select a private hospital or private medical service (Sharap), shorten waiting times, receive post-surgery nursing support, post-surgery recuperation benefits, and additional services according to the specific plan.

Supplementary insurance provides entitlements, services, and benefits for women in the areas of fertility, pregnancy, and childbirth.

The Leumit Gold Pregnancy Package is designed to help cover the many expenses associated with pregnancy.

Leumit Gold clients are eligible for total reimbursements of up to ₪9,290 (₪2,322 per pregnancy, for up to four pregnancies) for a wide range of tests and treatments during pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period.

In addition, only Leumit Gold clients are eligible for a maternity recuperation reimbursement starting from the first child, without the amount being deducted from the Pregnancy Package.

Leumit employs highly qualified physicians from across the medical spectrum. Under the Leumit Gold and Silver entitlement, clients may consult and receive a second opinion from senior physicians, including those who do not work with Leumit.

Adults over the age of 18 are entitled to up to 3 specialist consultations per year with physicians listed in the approved consultants list. Children are entitled to up to 4 consultations per year.

There are two tracks for specialist consultations:

• Consultations with specialist physicians who are consultants under agreement with Leumit.
• Consultations with specialist physicians who are not under agreement with Leumit (reimbursement track), provided their names appear on the list of physicians recognized for reimbursement on the Leumit website on the date the consultation takes place.

Specialist Consultation – Leumit Gold

A wide range of leading services and treatments are available for children under Leumit Silver and Leumit Gold, including:

• Up to 55 treatments per year in the field of child development for children up to age 18, including physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, psychological treatments, movement therapy, music therapy, therapeutic sports, hydrotherapy, and more.
• ADHD assessments – TOVA test and MOXO test at low co-payment.
• Discounts on dental and orthodontic treatments (Stage I–VI braces) in private dental clinics under agreement with Leumit.
• Eyeglasses and sunglasses for children at especially attractive prices, with renewed eligibility to purchase new glasses once per year.
• Complementary medicine treatments for children, with no limit on the number of treatments and at especially affordable rates.
• Reimbursements for treatment of bedwetting.
• Up to 4 consultations per year with specialist physicians listed in the approved consultants list.

Leumit Gold and Leumit Silver clients are eligible for dental treatments in private clinics at especially attractive prices. Only with Leumit is there an option to receive treatment in private dental clinics under agreement.

There are many medications that are not included in the Government Health Basket, as well as OTC medications and medical supplies that are offered at a discount to supplementary insurance clients at Leumit pharmacies.
