Leumit allows its clients to issue sick leave certificates immediately and independently, without the need to contact a doctor.
You can issue the certificate in any of the following ways:
Under the Sick Leave Certificates button, you can also view all previously issued certificates.
If a certificate has already been issued for the same dates, or if the limit of self-issued certificates has been exceeded, you will receive an automatic notification.
This service allows Leumit clients to receive a self-issued administrative sick leave certificate quickly and easily through an automated voice system. The certificate is sent directly to the client’s email and Leumit app.
This serivce is only available only after pressing 1 for service in Hebrew.
The certificate will be available in the Leumit app and by email (if your email address is updated in Leumit’s system).
Customer service representatives at Leumit medical centers will be happy to assist you with the sick leave certificate process.

All certificates issued within a 7-day period are counted as one certificate.
A total of up to 10 self-issued sick days per year can be granted.
Every certificate issued independently counts toward your yearly quota, whether or not it was submitted to your employer.
Yes. You can issue a certificate in advance - for example, for a scheduled medical test.
If you exceed your yearly or per-certificate limit, you can contact your doctor for an additional certificate. You can also request a sick leave certificate from your doctor at any time, just as before.
You can also issue sick leave certificates for a child’s illness, under the same conditions: up to four certificates per year, each for up to four sick days, and a total of 10 self-issued sick days per year.
